Million Mask Challenge Update

CFAWL CARES Opportunity – With school districts reopening next month, many of the 1,522 children in the Orange County foster care system will be returning to the classroom. The Legal Aid Society has reached out to the local chapter of the Million Mask Challenge to help provide masks for these children by August 1.  As the Million Mask Challenge is already preparing masks for other organizations, like Second Harvest, it is calling on CFAWL to help meet the community need: if you can sew, or if you know someone who can sew, please consider making masks for the foster children served by the Legal Aid Society of the OCBA. The Million Mask Challenge will provide kits with precut fabric and elastic – all you have to do is sew!  Please contact Leigh Anne Vancol by phone at 863-513-5181 or email at LeighAnneVancol@gmail.com.
