Virtual Happy Hour Celebrating Black History Month

Mark your calendars! As part of our celebration of Black History Month, CFAWL will be hosting a virtual happy hour on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. This happy hour will involve a recommended donation that will be a keystone of a month-long fundraising effort to benefit the Victim Service Center. It will also be an opportunity to share facts and stories about favorite inspirational leaders, support black female-owned businesses, and enjoy camaraderie with other CFAWL members and friends. We believe it is important to pair celebration with action, so we are asking all attendees at the happy hour to donate the cost of a drink to our fundraiser for the Victim Service Center of Central Florida.
As you may have heard, CFAWL is spreading some love this month by coordinating a purchase of Wish List items for clients of the VSC. Check out our flyer on social media! If you’d like to help but can’t attend the happy hour, make a donation to us through Venmo (@CFAWL) or give us an item from the wish list. All donations will go to the VSC.
