Nikki Hinton

Director at Large
Nikita (“Nicky”) C. Hinton is a civil defense litigator, and longtime dedicated researcher. Selected to serve as a lead legal researcher while in law school for one of the top Adoption Firms and Agencies in the Central Florida area, Nicky assisted with formal discovery, the formation of legal arguments, and the production of changes in leading caselaw. While contributing to assigned client files and all related court hearings, Nicky used her proficiency in Portuguese to assist the firm, agency, and clients, with their sensitive and complex contractual obligations. After briefly working alongside her law school professor on unprecedented Adoption Law related issues, Nicky was chosen to clerk for The Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. While clerking, Nicky was able to grasp and present arguments made by both sides, and weigh them against each other in order to present a supported legal conclusion to the Judge. She made and defended all recommendations, and supported her position with the diligent research necessary to carefully craft factual arguments. While steadily building on her reputation since clerking for The Honorable Patricia L. Strowbridge of the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, Nicky has developed a passion for researching, analyzing, and arguing complex civil dispute issues; particularly in the areas of products liability, personal injury, premise liability, and amusement park. She values perseverance, respect, and integrity. When not practicing law, Nicky enjoys reading, running, and time spent with her husband, son, and Goldendoodle.
