Christina Russo Walters

President Elect

Christina Russo Walters is Senior Managing Attorney Medical-Legal Partnerships at Community Legal Services (CLS) where she oversees the sustainable implementation of medical-legal partnerships, embedding lawyers and paralegals into healthcare teams to address the health-harming legal needs of low-income patients throughout Central Florida. She is recognized as a subject matter expert and has presented on medical-legal partnerships and their benefits to patients, healthcare providers, and health systems’ bottom lines at the state and national level.

Christina has dedicated her career to serving Florida’s most vulnerable communities, working as staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County prior to joining CLS in 2017. A South Florida native, Christina received her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University and her law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Christina has been a CFAWL member since 2018, currently Christina serving as President-elect. She also sits on the Board for the Volusia-Flagler County Coalition for the Homeless.

In her free time, Christina likes to garden, cheer on the Florida Gators, and spend time with her husband, Andrew, and their two adorable little girls, Paige and Zoey.
