Our next #FirstFriday luncheon will be held Friday, November 1, 2024, featuring Bobby Wesley, co-hosting with the StoryCorps. We all have a story to tell. Whether we’re sharing a funny anecdote around the campfire or representing clients in a boardroom, the stories we tell are important. Communicating those stories clearly and effectively is equally important if you hope to persuade, inform, or even just entertain.
Veteran storyteller and microphone enthusiast Bobby Wesley will join CFAWL to share insights into making “masterpieces” of our personal and professional stories. We’ll cover how to write a compelling narrative, structure your story for the highest impact, consider details, motivations, and the responsibilities of telling others’ stories, embrace being yourself in your presentation style, and many more topics, bits, and anecdotes he’ll likely riff at the moment
Bobby Wesley is an Orlando-based writer, storyteller, and touring performer. He’s also an experienced marketing communications professional and purveyor of fine words. Bobby co-hosts the award-winning Orlando Story Club, celebrating its 10th year of creating community through storytelling.
